La Rio's Fresh Mexican Grill ("we") respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect when you use larios.ca and request catering.

What we collect

When you submit a quote request or contact us, we collect the details you provide — your name, email, phone, company, event date, guest count, location and any notes. Every accepted website inquiry receives a unique submission reference.

We collect limited page, referral and campaign context to understand site use and how catering inquiries reach us. Google Analytics, Google Ads and Apollo visitor analytics operate as described below. PostHog analytics and session replay activate only after you choose to allow them. PostHog session replay masks form inputs, and we do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or message contents to PostHog. We do not sell your information.

How we use it

We use your inquiry information to respond, prepare quotes, fulfill orders and follow up about your event. We may store it in our customer-management tools for these purposes.

When you have consented to promotional email, we may send occasional catering offers. Each promotional message provides a way to unsubscribe, and an unsubscribe request is recorded in our customer-management system so the address is suppressed from future promotional sends.

Text messaging and AI assistance

If you start a text conversation with us, or separately check the optional text-consent box on a quote form, we may respond about that catering request through iMessage, RCS or SMS. Our messaging concierge uses AI to help answer questions and collect event details. It identifies itself as AI, and a member of our team can review or take over a conversation.

For messaging, we process the sending and receiving phone numbers, message content, timestamps, delivery status and conversation state. Do not send payment-card details, government identifiers, medical records or other highly sensitive information by text. Automated estimates are planning information only; a human-confirmed written quote is required before a booking is final.

When a quote request is accepted, we may send an opaque submission reference and limited event details to Google Analytics and Google Ads so the inquiry can be counted. We do not send the name, email address or phone number entered on the quote form to Google for enhanced-conversion matching.

Google measurement cookies and visitor analytics

Google Analytics, Google Ads and Apollo visitor analytics may set cookies or similar browser identifiers to measure visits, understand quote journeys, preserve campaign attribution and support advertising measurement. PostHog remains disabled until you choose to allow it. If you decline PostHog, Google and Apollo behavior is unchanged. You can change your PostHog choice through the site privacy controls.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate, communicate, manage inquiries and measure advertising, and only as needed for those purposes. These providers may include our website host, email and team-notification services, our iMessage/RCS/SMS platform, secure data-storage providers, AI service providers, Attio, Apollo, Google Analytics and Google Ads. Some providers may process information outside Canada under their own security and contractual safeguards. We do not share your details for unrelated third-party marketing.

Retention and safeguards

We retain inquiry, conversation and transaction information only for as long as reasonably needed to serve you, operate our business and meet legal or accounting requirements. The messaging concierge is configured to keep a limited working conversation history, use brand-scoped storage and avoid placing message content in routine application logs. Access is limited to the systems and people who need it for those purposes.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies and similar identifiers through your browser settings. You can use the unsubscribe link in a promotional email or reply unsubscribe to stop promotional emails. You can also reply STOP to end text follow-ups, reply HUMAN to request a person, or contact us to access, correct or delete your information. Email catering@larios.ca for a privacy request. Some records may need to be retained where required by law.
